How I came to be...
My grandma, Karen McNeely of Mistiblu Rottweilers, got her first show dog, Sasha, and needed a handler. My mom, though not a professional, offered to show her. Fortunately Sasha did not NEED a handler and went on to become a champion despite the baggage (Mom's word, not mine) at the end of her lead. She finished with two 5-point majors and back to back 3 and 4-point majors. She also won Breed over the #1 bitch and several top 10 males. Everyone was thrilled. She became CH Lakeview's Sasha of Mistiblu CD. Grandma Karen promised my mom a puppy as a thank you for her efforts. Unfortunately Sasha was not able to have babies. A few years later, along comes Anja and the rest is history. Keeping her promise from years back, she practically insisted that my mom take me. Can you believe she had to insist? Me either.

My dad is famous. If you click on his photo below you'll go to his very own website! It has a John Wayne theme and is way cool. John Wayne was the best cowboy ever and I'm named in his honor.
My dad won Best of Breed at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club in Madison Square Garden! He was on TV and everything. You can see his photo and a video by clicking HERE.

My momma is AKC major pointed and the sweetest girl I know. If you click on her photo you'll go to her family's website and see photos of my brothers and sisters and me as we were growing up. That's my momma's grandpa, Charlie O'Hara, in the photo with with her.
My momma lived to the ripe old age of 14 years and 2 months. We lost her in May, 2014.
